Role Overview
SageSure is looking for the stability of a profitable, growing company combined with the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup. As a Premium Accounting Representative I, you will manage collections and disbursement activities, including invoicing policies, processing premium payments, and managing disbursements. Key Responsibilities
- Invoice policies in accordance with established company guidelines and procedures.
- Process premium receipts through multiple channels including ACH, Credit Card, and Lockbox systems.
- Process cancellation notices following established guidelines and timeframes.
- Manage autopay plan enrollment for policyholders, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Review, research, and process return premium transactions with attention to detail.
- Research and advise on returned mail, checks, payments, and related inquiries.
- Support the business through collaboration via Microsoft Teams and other communication platforms.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support the accounting team's success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts ordinary and customary to accounting functions.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail in all work performed.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated ability to create, navigate, and use Excel spreadsheets effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related area of study.
- 1–2 years of experience in a business environment, providing foundational professional skills.
